We grew frustrated with the old way of buying and selling - scammers, expensive buyer’s premiums and commission fees, antiquated websites, comic cons without comics - the list goes on. We believe there's a better way. So we created a modern, mobile marketplace featuring a curated collection of third-party authenticated comic books.
A Curated Marketplace
Casual and hardcore comic book collectors will find something they love. Shortboxed is a curated marketplace, meaning we manually approve every single comic book that is listed in the Shop. You will find comic books from the Golden Age, Silver Age, Bronze Age, Copper Age and Modern Age, including key issues, classic covers, variants, rare books and everything in between.
How It Works
Sellers list their comic books for sale, and buyers browse the Shop. When a buyer completes a purchase, the seller ships the book to Shortboxed, we verify the authenticity and condition to ensure it’s the exact book ordered, then we ship the book directly to the buyer. The seller receives payment once the comic book is confirmed delivered, minus a flat 10% commission fee.

Shortboxed only features books from trusted dealer partners and vetted sellers, with safeguards in place to protect both buyers and sellers. We currently only feature third-party graded comic books, so you can feel confident that you will receive the exact book you purchased, with no shenanigans.
