Our mission is to provide a parking solution for media and artists in Austin during SXSW. For this, we will have two apps of which this is one. This app targets our staff (called Ushers) on the ground in Austin who will help our final users – the drivers – to navigate to the correct spot and answer other questions. For this reason, the application is limited to closed group of people being identified by a username/password.
The function of the application is:
· Provide the position of the Usher to the backend so we can steer users towards the Usher.
· Use location to lookup data of parking spots around you.
· Provide access to data on the parking spot, such as its status, expected car license, etc.
· Report a violation of a parking spot (aka reporting a wrong vehicle on a parking spot)
· Getting in contact by receiving or sending messages to the backend
· Access to general information such as time schedule and help content
