Global Harvest Church was birthed through a divine mandate which was received by the founding pastors – Victor and Jumoke Adeyemi. The name, Global Harvest, is coined from the scriptural backing of this divine order and it is found in Mark 16:15, “Go throughout the world and preach the gospel to all people”. To this end, the ministry has spread to different countries of the world. In accordance with its mandate, the church has quite a number of branches across Nigeria and the world.
The Bodija branch in Ibadan is one of many branches in Nigeria; and was inaugurated on the 6th of October, 2003 at the First Floor of Tekts Multipurpose Hall (Favours Building), New Bodija, Ibadan. The church consists of professionals from all works of life who are dedicated to positively influencing their secular life through the spiritual empowerment that is daily made available from individual and corporate fellowships.
Global Harvest Church Bodija is devoted to pursuing the Global Harvest vision of changing the culture of Nations and generations; to this end, it carries out periodic outreaches to Prisons, Orphanages and various communities around the church to share the love of Jesus Christ.
WHO WE ARE
We are a generation that lives by the Word of God; we discover our God-given purpose through everyday life-impacting activities. Our beliefs and doctrines are guided by God’s Word and the manifestation of God’s gifts in us is both public and private.
OUR BELIEF
We believe that there is one God who exists in three distinct personalities and He has an uncompromising demand for holiness from all believers. Jesus, who rose from the dead, is the only way to salvation and He is coming again. We believe that all men need to be saved and that salvation and justification are by grace through faith.
We also accept as true that the Bible is God’s Word and that deliverance comes by the application of God’s word and by exercising the authority in the name of Jesus. We are assured of our victory in spiritual warfare, knowing that Satan and demons are the real enemies.
We believe in the importance of water baptism, baptism of the Holy Spirit and the efficacy of the Lord’s Supper.
We believe in private and public exercise of the gifts of the spirit.
We are assured of rapture and resurrection of the dead and of eternity with God in the new heaven and new earth for all who are redeemed by the blood of Jesus, the only begotten son of God. We also believe that the lake of fire is the final eternal abode of all of unsaved humanity.
