CApp is an app that solves constant-acceleration physics problems. Pick any three:
initial velocity, final velocity, acceleration, time elapsed and displacement, and CApp will calculate the other two, or let you know if there are no solutions or multiple solutions.
CApp is based on an algorithm developed by Philippe Binder (University of Hawaii at Hilo) and Spencer Wheaton (University of Cape Town, South Africa), published in the March, 2017 issue of Physics Education (an IOP Journal). Software developers: J. Best, , D. Case, M. Chong and K. Smallwood, supervised by H. K. Edwards (University of Hawaii at Hilo).
The app is free, but we ask for the right to collect statistics on the use of the different cases we consider.
