Tourism is a popular pass time event and hobby for many people around the world, and travelling to new places requires good navigation, people usually make use of paper maps to locate places, visit exciting spots, or hiring tour guides to show them around.Today, people have developed applications for computer systems and smartphones to make the process easier. These applications are usually designed to help people in big cities.
Kwahu town which is located in the Eastern Region of Ghana is not a very big city, but it has its unique features, which people would miss. Due to limited information about the city, This app inform tourists and people in general of the attractions located in kwahu town and the history it carries along with various hotel located in the town.
The app contain useful information for tourists and serve as a guide during their tour in kwahu. It display a list of attractions and hotels located in kwahu in a tab form with brief descriptions.
Click or touch any of the places in the attraction tab, Additional information about the place are shown such as Location of the place description of the place and it uses Google map to display geographical location of the place in a map along with marker to pin point the location.
Click or touch a marker on the map,you can directly access inbuilt GoogleMap or calculate how far your location is to the place either by walking, by bus or train with the required kilometers determine. Thanks to GoogleMap.
Hotels tab shows list of hotels and perform functions similar to attractions list but with additional details shown.
