We want to create a platform for users to gather with like-minded individuals who share a common interest. A virtual and physical space for people to get together
FOLO is a platform to make new friends virtually, these virtual hangouts can then be translated into hangouts at a physical space.
FOLO is about allowing you to do more of what you love with who you love and with people who love doing the same things as you do. Use FOLO to Hangout with folks who share similar interests with you, or even to do things together with you.
A place where we aim to help create communities within activities, bringing value to both users and businesses. Discover hangouts that suit your interests based on your selection while you create your profile.
Be updated with the Hangouts around you, be it if you are looking for something to do, or even check out what your friends are up to. You can add your friends on the app and even friends that you have made along the way where it would make it easier for you to ask them out in the future.
Besides this, we also saw a bigger purpose and reason why we created this platform.
Digitization is happening rapidly right now, not only in Singapore but globally. Additionally, we want to support a few groups of people who may not be on the bandwagon right now for various reasons and help them adapt to the digital world. For a start, we want to help:
(i) Those who are in their 50s – 60s
- Being confined at home for a long period of time and as a result, experience feeling lost and without a purpose due to their limited resources with technology
(ii) Parents who have children with special needs
- Looking to fit and connect with society and not be left out
(iii) Lastly, a place for those who are looking to reach out to support these group of individuals
- A platform in which those who are looking to support and give back towards the community, a platform whereby they can choose how they would like to help to reach out.
Features:
Hangouts: A feature that allows users to meet like-minded individuals that share the same taste buds or dance to the same groove as they do! You could either be the initiator or you could simply just join in on a Hangout that has been created.
Share & Slash: A feature that allows users to share the merchants’ promotions with their friends/family to help them get the product/service at the price they desire!
Check-in, win-it: This allows shoppers to check-in at the mall and win discount vouchers from participating merchants.
Snatch the Treat: A feature that allows brands to advertise their promotions or a space where brands can offer cash vouchers during designated time slots through the days.
