NoteKit is a simple and easy to use note taking application. Combine pictures, handwriting, text, videos, and voice recordings, all in the same document. Your notes are saved and kept organized by subject, automatically.

NoteKit allows you to write notes by hand, type notes using a keyboard, highlight anything in your notes, and record audio at the same time. Changing the size or color of the pen, text, or highlighter tools is easy using a color picker. If you make a mistake, simply undo the last action or use the eraser to remove content. In text mode, a text box is added to your notes wherever you tap the screen. The active text box, outlined in red, can be moved simply by dragging it. Notes automatically extend and become scrollable as content is created.

To add a photo, video, or audio recording to your notes, select the desired mode, and simply tap the screen. An icon representing the photo or video you took or the audio recording you are making will be added where you tapped. Photos and videos can be resized and moved by pinching and dragging them. To view a photo or video in full screen simply tap it. Audio recordings can be moved by dragging the right side of the icon. You can play your audio recordings directly within your notes. When you play an audio recording you can find a specific moment in your recording by dragging the progress bar at the bottom of the screen.

Use NoteKit as a work and school notebook or binder, or simply use Note Kit as a way to organize your sketches, drafts, designs, or compositions for a project. Listen to a recorded lecture or your own voice recordings as you scroll through, jot down, read, and edit your notes. Change the paper background to lined paper or ruled paper to assist your note taking. Do you need to make a graph or plot some coordinates? Use a grid by changing the background to graph paper or quadrille ruled paper.

The size and color of the pen tool, text, and highlighter can be changed quickly through size and color palettes. The selected color in the palette can be customized by using the “Change Color” button. Use the color tool to create any color or if you know the hex RGB value with alpha you want, simply enter it in the text box labeled ARGB. The size palette can be customized in a similar way. All customized palettes are saved with each document.
