Users can install the Dworx Notifier app to get notified of promotions, coupons or offers when near Deviceworx xPlayer Digital Signage players that have been installed by retailers or advertising network operators. Notifications will support launching retailer web pages or retailer apps (when installed).
The Dworx Notifier app must run only once after install to register the user for advertising notifications. It never has to be started by the user again. It will show a notification whenever the user comes near a Deviceworx xPlayer that is broadcasting a promotion, coupon or offer.
If users decide that they no longer wish to receive offers, disable the app, its notifications or just un-install it. It supports full opt-in.
No personally identifiable information is recorded by the app. Use it anonymously.
