Higher Counthill Farm better known as HCF offers state-of-the-art facilities for all your horse riding needs. HCF now boasts two new arenas; Jumping and Flatwork.
A new and unique feature of these two arenas is that the horse rider is able to record their sessions! What’s more, is that once the rider has completed their horse-riding session, they will be able to download and playback their recording of the session! This will help the rider improve and hone their horse-riding skills to their hearts desire! They could even share the video with their friends and family.
Ever wondered what your beloved horse is doing right now? Well, wonder no more! All the stables at HCF are equipped with the latest video camera technology. This will allow the stable owner a live view of their horse 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
HCF offers two forms of membership: paying and non-paying. Our Arena surfaces are a Silica sand base, topped with PVC Granules, which provides a proven, frost resistant, all-weather surface.
Another great feature is that all of our facilities at HCF are flood lit with Stadium Grade lighting for those darker winter nights.
We are located near Oldham in beautiful, open countryside representing the best of the north’s open spaces. Our facilities consist of 39 stables, two new arenas both of which offer a recording of the riders’ session. All of this including an impressive farmland backdrop for your training or leisure use.
