Welcome to the ATLAS - Student Ready App. The app gives students guide to both emergency medical treatment procedures, as well as the Immediate Actions checklist for various types of emergencies. With over 70 short “How To” videos, the ATLAS Student Ready App is always with you! All the content, including the videos, is installed in the initial set up and allows access to the information and videos even if WIFI is down.
There are six first aid treatment categories:
• Unconscious (choking, CPR/AED)
• Trauma (bleeding, broken bones, burns, head/neck injuries)
• Medical (asthma, allergies/anaphylaxis, EPI-Pen administration, seizures, heart attack)
• Environmental (bites/stings, heat stroke and frost bite),
• Overdose (drug and alcohol overdose, including opioids and Narcan administration)
• Mass Casualty (triage and treating multiple patients)
The Immediate Actions provide incident-specific checklists for life-threatening situations, such as person with a weapon, a fire or tornado.
