Homeorep is a homeopathic software dedicated to the repertorisation of symptoms using the Boenninghausen’s Method. The database of rubrics comes from Clemens von Boenninghausen's THERAPEUTIC POCKET BOOK.
A complete symptom in the form: Localisation + Sensation + Modality, with only 3 rubrics, gives already a first selection of possibly indicated remedies as a consequence of the underlying probabilistic structure of this unique repertory, which was ahead of its time and is still modern nowadays where the theory of probabilities and statistics have invaded almost all fields of knowledge. Adding more (well selected) rubrics points out with increasing precision to the remedies which are the most likely indicated.
For each selection of rubrics made by users Homeorep computes and sorts remedies in the Evaluation Grid according to a customisable sequence of criteria: Grand Total, Number of Hits, Sum of Grades, Difference of Polarities.
The software is intuitive and strait-forward. It will be of use for experienced practitioners, students of Homeopathy and lay people seriously interested in the study of pure homeopathy.
Homeorep includes the repertory by Clemens von Boenninghausen in 3 languages:
- Therapeutisches Taschenbuch (original german 1846)
- Therapeutic Pocket Book (translation into english 1847, entirely revised and corrected)
- Manuel de Thérapeutique Homéopathique (new french translation by Michel Ramillon © 2013-2018)
=> The english and french translations adhere to the original german edition 1846 as to the arrangement of parts, chapters and rubrics.
Part VII “Concordances of the Medicaments” is not included. It has been replaced by “The Drug Affinities 1853” also by C. von Boenninghausen.
MAIN FEATURES:
Page “Search”:
- Jump within seconds to the searched rubric(s) using the search database engine: typing in the search bar one or several sequences of characters (3 minimum) separated by a “space” character, reduces instantly the visible rubrics to the rubrics matching the input.
- Select your rubric with a single Touch on the screen while in Edit mode (circled checkmark icon). If the selected rubric is polar, its counter-rubric is automatically added after it. The polar status of any selected rubric can later be changed.
Page “Selection”:
- Display the list of the previously selected rubrics. A polar rubric begins with a ⊕ character, a counter-rubric with ⊖.
- Manage your selection of rubrics: move up/down, show/hide chapter, set polar status, set eliminating rubric, create a combined rubric (merging or crossing), rename, remove. A polar rubric must immediately be followed by its counter-rubric (on the next line) for contraindications to be taken into account correctly.
Page “Evaluation":
- The result of the repertorisation is displayed in a grid (Evaluation Grid), each column representing a remedy.
- The columns of the Evaluation Grid are sorted according to a sequence of priorities which can be accessed from the "Options" page.
- Press 2 seconds minimum on the Evaluation Grid to pop up an Actions Menu: save image, print, add to Notes, etc.
Page “Options”:
- List in alphabetical order all the remedies used in the Therapeutic Pocket Book.
- Browse the repertory by parts, chapters and rubrics.
- Customise visual parameters of the “Search”, "Selection" and “Evaluation” pages.
- Show/hide contraindications option: 3 modes of contraindication are available.
- Use polarities option.
- Hide counter-rubrics option.
- Switch to Boenninghausen’s Repertory with rubric's names in another language: German, English, French.
Page "Patients":
- Manage and store clinical data gathered from your patients. Store an image of the repertorisation for each consultation.
