The Rockefeller Foundation is establishing a new marketplace for cities and technology to partner in support of resilience, starting with a high-impact, invite-only CityXChange Summit at the Bellagio Center on Lake Como in May 2018. Working through its pioneering 100 Resilient Cities Initiative, we will bring together a select group of forward-looking city leaders with tech innovators and investors behind some of the most promising solutions to challenges facing 21st Century cities.
The Summit will focus on the role technology can play in helping cities become more resilient. We will feature demonstrations of cutting-edge technologies and innovations that have the potential to transform the future outlook for cities around the world. And through collaborative small-group problem-solving sessions, city leaders will work hand-in-hand with innovators and funders to identify opportunities for future partnerships and solutions to challenges that may stand in the way of adopting and scaling the best ideas.
