FarmCart is a multi-lingual, multi-channel, multi-party integrated shopping app for INDIAN farmers developed by POORTI AGRI SERVICES PVT LTD.
The app provides a multi-party mobile commerce platform in vernacular for easy ordering of fertilizers, pesticides, seeds (beyond a given value) by farmers with loans given by various banks. For manufacturer/dealers/ cooperative societies, the fund will be transferred from the lending bank through the mobile platform on the acknowledgement of the receipt of such material by farmers. It will also provide a source of earnings to educated rural youth who can act as delivery agents.
