Halal House is an app developed mainly for Muslim community in the UK. One of the primary objectives of the app is to keep Muslim community informed about the Salat-e-Janazah / Namaz-e-Janazah (Islamic Funeral Prayers) after a member of the community passed away via push notifications on mobile phones. Initially, the app is exclusively available for download in selected areas of the UK. However, the app will be available for most of the cities/towns in the UK soon. Some of the app features include:
1). Notifications about the Salat-e-Janazah / Namaz-e-Janazah (Islamic Funeral Prayers) including time and location etc.
2). Salat /Namaz times of each mosque subscribed by the users. Salat times are calculated and verified by the each mosque. Users can opt-in to receive mosque specific notifications
3). Notifications about events and activities related to local mosques
4). Directory of local Halal businesses
