Keepnet was created in alliance with the newly formed, Conservation Angling Sustainability Trust (CAST) after noticing a marked decline in Zimbabwe’s fish stocks. There was also a lack of awareness in Zimbabwean fisheries relating to catch and release and sustainable harvest, be it from a social fishing aspect all the way up to tournament level angling.
Keepnet offers three solutions to bring about a much-needed change:
**Keepnet Weigh Bay** – An app based tournament fishing solutions.
Keepnet Pro, is an app based tournament scoring solution, that can be used either at a social level or as a full tournament scoring solution. It focuses on catch score and release and is helping reduce the impact on the fish and the fisheries
**Keepnet** – A social media platform for fishing.
Keepnet, is a place to create awareness relating to catch and release and sustainable harvest. Anglers can easily share their catch and release videos and photos. The social media platform is also a place to educate anglers on the dos, don’ts, and laws that govern our relevant fisheries.
**Keepnet Pro**
A record keeping and marketing tool for angling professionals and business that offer services to anglers.
THE TEAM BEHIND KEEPNET
We are a passionate group of concerned people from social fishermen to hardened tournament anglers, with one common understanding. We all agree that the current environment and lack of awareness about social and tournament fishing is not sustainable, and there needs to be a change. We hope to offer solutions that will bring about this change, and we believe that Keepnet will in time become the standard when it comes to tournament scoring systems.
