LINEAR ALGEBRA PLUS is surprinsingly intuitive and easy to use. Videos containing examples of all its capabilities are available on the website below. In them, you can see how fast and easy to manage it is. ATENTION: If some labels overlap, please, fix the font size of your device to small.
MATRICES:
Up to 8 matrices, with up to 10 rows and columns, can be stored in variables A, B, ...X, and then used in further calculus. The programme can calculate the determinant, rank and inverse of each matrix. Complex matrix expressions (A*(B^(-1)-3A) can be easily solved. It evaluates the determinant, rank and inverse of matrices with one parameter.
It also calculates the characteristic polynomial, eigenvalues and eigenvectors of endomorphisms and change of basis matrices P y P^(-1).
LINEAR SYSTEMS OF EQUATIONS:
It classifies and solves Dependent / Independent Consistent Systems or Inconsistent Systems of up to 10 equations with one parameter.
POLYNOMIALS:
Up to 8 polynomials (max grade = 9), can be stored in variables A, B, ...P and then used in different polynomial expressions. It factorises and calculates rational and real rootos of polynomials . Polynomial divisions are possible (all the steps are given). Complex expressions can be easily solved (p^3*(2p-q^2)), which makes it easy to solve a great variety of equations.
3D GEOMETRY:
This module allows you to enter points, vectors, straight lines and planes, and then calculate new ones dependent on the first ones ("line which contains a point and is perpendicular to a plane", "point symmetrical about a straight line" ... ) or make calculus with them (intersections, distances, relative positions, angles, change of basis ...).
2D GEOMETRY:
This module allows you to enter points, vectors and straight lines, and then calculate new ones dependent on the first ones ("line which contains a point and is perpendicular to another line", "point symmetrical about a straight line" ... ) or make calculus with them (intersections, distances, relative positions, angles, change of basis ...).
