Clavier is a keyboard synthesizer with 128 instruments.

Free version currently provides the full keyboard range for all instruments.
The app uses the instrument samples already built in to your Android device. Some instruments sound better than others, and several instruments do not implement the full music keyboard range-- a limitation of Android and/or your particular hardware. But with so many instruments to choose from, you will have plenty of choices to stimulate your creative abilities.
Instruments in the free version include Acoustic Grand Piano, Celesta, Drawbar Organ, Acoustic Guitar (nylon), Acoustic Bass, Violin, String Ensemble 1, Trumpet, Soprano Sax, Piccolo, Lead 1 (synth), Pad 1 (new age), FX 1 (rain), Sitar, Tinkle Bell, and Guitar-Fret Noise.
General MIDI defines 128 instruments in 16 different families: Piano, Chromatic Percussion, Organ, Guitar, Bass, Strings, Ensemble, Brass, Reed, Pipe, Synth Lead, Synth Pad, Synth Effects, Ethnic, Percussive, and Sound Effects.
