Designed to help visitors prepare for the visit, the Museo Egizio app offers useful content to bring the public closer to the most important Egyptian collection in the world, after the one in Cairo.
Founded in 1824, the Egyptian museum houses a collection of over 40,000 artifacts including statues, papyrus, sarcophagi, objects of daily life: a journey through time through 4000 years of history.
The app offers:
- all essential practical museum information
- a free audio guide for the new Archeologia Invisibile temporary exhibition
- an overview of the Egyptian Museum's route and the rooms
- an overview of the museum's not to be missed masterpieces
- a section dedicated to the collections
- the ME selfie feature: take and share your selfie as an Egyptian mummy
