IS: Geoji (Geographical based Emoji) is an API shared map platform that allows users to create/consume both events and businesses. These events and businesses are concisely represented through the modern day tiny hieroglyphics that are emojis (a picture says a thousand words, an emoji says a few). Perfectly representing what is happening at that particular location at that moment in time.
DOES: Allows users to concisely see on a shared map what is going on around them and also to create intimate events or businesses for others... i.e Silent Disco at a warehouse on the east side, barber shop out of an apartment, yoga class in the park, etc.
MEANS: All of the unstructured data from events across the US is now structured and easy to consume on a shared map starting here in Austin and open to anywhere. Creators have an open API map platform to create an event or business that is easily shared to everyone. Cuts down the bureaucracy of trying to be an entrepreneur or event planner/ promoter.
