It is sometimes a cumbersome work to define an efficient blast design. PyroBlast pretends to optimize all major parameters for the bench blast, including:
- blast hole diameter
- burden
- spacing
- subdrill
- crown stemming
At the same time PyroBlast will also evaluate the charge for a blast hole:
- total primary explosive length (and weight)
- total secondary explosive length (and weight), if provided
- total number of detonators
- number of decks
- number of detonators for each deck
- primary explosive length (and weight) for each deck
- secondary explosive length (and weight) for each deck, if provided
- charge per delay
- stemming lengths
More detailed results:
- vibration data results is shown if the user inputs a vibration data file (CSV format)
- vibrations graphics to better visualize how charge affects vibrations along the distance
- decks are only shown if there is a vibration limitation in the blast
- the user can input a desired granulometric curve and PyroBlast will optimize all the previous parameters to comply with it.
Internally PyroBlast uses a kernel module called Pyromancer. Made from scratch, it uses the Ash rules associated with the KCO (Kuznetsov–Cunningham–Ouchterlony) named also the extended Kuz–Ram model where the Rosin–Rammler function is replaced by Swebrec© function.
