OCRit is a simple yet smart Android application to recognize text on images without internet access.
You can take a photo with camera and recognize the text on the photo, or import image from gallery to recognize the text on the image of paper.
This app use the tesseract library to run the image to text conversion offline without internet access.
OCRit currently supports ENGLISH language only. But in the future it will support ARABIC language too.
OCRit app features:
- take a photo then OCR it
- import image from gallery then OCR it
- copy the recognized text
- share the recognized text
