NAAR is an audio recording app designed from the ground up to be reliable and extensible.
Whether you want to record a simple voice note, important meetings, or your math lessons you can rely on NAAR to get the task done. NAAR is a feature-rich app, allowing you to record in different audio formats and quality settings, but offering at the same time an user friendly and clean interface hiding the more advanced functionalities. Here are some of the features NAAR presents in its current state:

- Configurable sample rate: 192000Hz, 96000Hz, 48000Hz, 44100Hz, 32000Hz, 24000Hz, 16000Hz, 12000Hz, 8000Hz. (Note: Frequencies higher than 48000 and even 44100 are only supported by a few devices).
- Each recording has its own folder inside the main folder, folders can be renamed.
- The recording is split transparently in various files inside the recording folder if necessary. (If maximum file size is reached for example).
- Recording process can be paused and resumed and recordings can be easily discarded.
- Recording auto pauses and resumes on incoming calls.
- Uses audio focus.
- Tracks remaining free space.
- Estimates remaining recording time based on available free space and current used space (for *ALL* the audio formats).
- Recordings can be tagged, and managed from the app.
- Select multiple recordings for fast deletion.
- Search recordings by tag or folder name.
- Search recordings by tag by clicking on the tag.
- Recording are ordered by last modified time and creation time.
- Recordings can be shared with other apps easily, one by one, or multiple recordings at the same time.
- Recordings can be opened using an external player from the app (Just the first audio file).
- Integrated audio player, with multiple re-samplers.
- Configurable audio source, number of channels (Mono or Stereo), AGC (Automatic Gain Control) and NS (Noise suppression).
- Configurable recording path and maximum file size.
- 8 quick customizable audio profiles for recording.
- Able to record for extended periods of time without interruptions (days, weeks...).
- Responsive interface adapts to multiple resolutions and supports multi-window mode.
- Notifications: pause/resume recording, skip to previous/next file, or pause.

- Recording/Playing is auto paused when headsets are unplugged.
