Lightwork Appstations creates mobile apps designed to harmonize the small businesses of thousands of performing musicians with the small businesses of Main Street. We curate in-store audio channels from a vast library of recordings so that participating businesses can support Sustainable Artists and display our “Fair Play Certified” emblem, assuring the public that the creators and rights holders of the music are fairly paid for their compositions, recordings, and performances.
We create two types of apps. One is a “Community App” that serves as the central platform for the sponsoring businesses in a market area or national niche who are playing one of our in-store audio channels. The community app features a community audio channel that includes music from Sustainable Artists as well as brief promotional messages by or about local businesses, highlights and maps to those local businesses, community and local business events, photos, videos, and more. The second is a “Local Business App” which is designed for a specific business and features their information, products, services, images, videos, audio channel, on-line stores, etc.
This app is here to demonstrate the capabilities of our platform and features a real community, real businesses and actual tracks from our music selection. Please also note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. We use the GPS location system within the app to ensure we provide you the best local music and information.
