Fundash is a simple dashboard to easily keep track of your Mutual Fund investments on a daily basis. The unique thing about Fundash is that your portfolio is imported automatically. Unlike the other trackers, you don’t need to manually enter each investment you make.
This simple dashboard enables you to look at the total value of all your investments. Fundash updates the current value of your Mutual Fund investments and always shows you up-to-date information. You can drill down into your investments to the fund level to see the performance of each fund. This keeps you informed of how your investments are performing.
Automatic
I created this app because I was tired of manually entering my investments in portfolio trackers. The process is too cumbersome and time consuming. There is so much margin of error that you can never be sure if you are looking at the correct numbers.
Fundash works with your NSDL CAS Statements. CAS stands for Consolidated Account Statement and has the statement of all your investments, whether you purchased the funds through a broker or through the Mutual Fund house directly. The investments linked yo your PAN Number are all in there. Just import your CAS Statement to Fundash and let it take care of the rest. If you do not receive CAS Statements, the app has instructions on how to set that up.
Multiple Portfolios
You can also track multiple statements or portfolios at the same time. For example, if your partner is investing in Mutual Funds as well, with their PAN Number, you can import both. In fact, you can import as many statements as you like.
Portfolio Updates
NSDL sends you updated CAS statements every month. If you are like me and invest using weekly/monthly SIP, your statement will have new investments. Fundash handles that gracefully. Just import the updated statement whenever you like and the information in Fundash will be updated.
Privacy
Fundash is a completely client-based app. That means we have no server! Hard to believe, right? It’s true! All the processing is done on your mobile phone directly. That means we do not upload any information about you anywhere. All your data lives locally and you can delete it whenever you like!
