Bull & Moon is the first app that gives personalized stock recommendations based on astrological compatibility; your birthday and publicly traded companies’ birthdays (better known as their founding date). But the question remains, can an astrology-based investment strategy outperform the market?
In late June of 2019, we put Bull & Moon’s technology to the test and got recommended six stocks that were most compatible with the test subject, a Leo. The stocks included the following: Jefferies Financial Group (JEF), Mondelez International (MLDZ), Micron Technology (MU), AT&T Inc (T), Take-Two Interactive (TTWO), and Verizon Communications (VZ). On July 1st, the test subject bought shares in all 6 companies, as well the S&P 500, which is a solid indicator of the market.
On October 1st, we examined the data for Q3 and the results were impressive. The test subject’s portfolio outperformed all initial expectations. While the S&P 500 only went up 1.7%, the test subject’s went up 7.47%, quadrupling the market’s return.
