Praise 96.5 is Montgomery, Alabama’s Inspiration Radio Station. Our blend of music focuses on gospel music featuring mass choirs, quartets, and those more traditional sounds that remind you of times gone by. Our announcers and ministries are local and active in the community. Mornings start with Bishop Clarence E Stewart, Jr from 6am to 10am. Following is AJ in the mid day- a popular fixture in the gospel music scene of Montgomery for several decades. Afternoon drive is anchored by Tre Stewart. All announcers take requests and often give “shout outs” to loyal listeners. In addition to weekday programming, Praise 96.5 features live announcers on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Another popular feature is from 10am to Noon each Saturday, it’s the Teen Scene- hosted by two high school students. The music is consistent with the rest of the programming, but the conversation is directed more at teenage issues and concerns. Praise 96.5 also features various local preachers and ministers from midnight to 6am in our “Word Overnight” segment. There are also ministry programs at various other times across the weekend. Praise 96.5 is very involved in the local community. In the Fall, Praise 96.5FM is the host station for Montgomery Catholic Football.
