WRD is a live text recognition app that scans, highlights, and copies words in physical printed texts such as books. Easy to use: Just hover your device camera over some printed text and type the words that you want to find into the app search bar—those words will quickly become highlighted on your device screen with great precision!
WRD is best described as a real-world ”command-F” (text finder) and ”command-C” (text copier) for your iOS device that scans, recognizes, and highlights keywords real time in passages of printed text that you view through your device camera. WRD can eliminate those tedious, time-consuming keyword searches in books, magazines, and newspapers, and enables entire passages of text, or even individual words and sentences, to be copied onto your device and shared with ease. WRD is available for iPhone and iPad, and no account sign-up is required.
