My Training Tracker grew from my own need to track my own cardio and resistance training. I run 2-3 days/week all year round (I ride a stationary bike when it’s raining!) and in the summer I occasionally add or substitute a swimming session for a run. Because I do only a small amount of resistance training (and infrequently) I need to remember the sets/reps/etc for my exercises.
So I went looking for an app to track my training but I found that I needed one app for my running and a second app for my gym work. I also wanted an app without in-app purchases. And so I decided to write my own and My Training Tracker is the result.
With your cardio workouts, firstly enter details of your workout – give it a name and enter the total distance. You can also enter a split distance, if you are measuring in miles, kms or laps, and any notes. Each time you do this workout enter the total time and any other details you like. Your sessions can be sorted by date and by time so you can watch your progress.
With your resistance training, as for your cardio training, enter details of your resistance workout. Then start entering exercises for that workout adding details like sets, reps, weight, time. To watch your progress select and exercise and give it a long press - your history for that exercise will be displayed.
