What is PosterCity?
An application to see all the Posters in the city... because each city is unique and has a unique cultural life!
Postercity is not a calendar of events, it’s much more than that.
Brussels, Montpellier, Barcelona, Berlin... each city has its own particular cultural life. This is evidenced by the posters that fill the streets with information about what´s going on. Never again will you miss that interesting concert or great art show just because you had no time to read about it or your daily life did not take you through that one street.
Who is it for?
Basically, for all users who like art, culture and who are passionate about discovering new cities to explore.
Also aimed at creators and designers who want to show their posters. Postercity is creating a library of street posters so they’re not lost in time. We believe that behind every poster there is a worthwhile creative art and we want to pay tribute to all the artists, designers and anonymous creative individuals who make the streets a more interesting place to walk on. Also, for promoters, artists and concert organizers who see in this platform another way to reach the maximum audience. And who are accustomed to using this type of applications, giving greater visibility to their shows.
Who’s behind?
In each city we have a correspondent who takes pictures of the posters on the street and will be in charge of being the “eye” of the application.
Can I upload my posters?
Any promoter, organizer, manager, designer or artist who wants to send their posters are welcome! In the future, any registered user may upload their posters to the APP. The purpose is to become a world reference, where all cities can show their rich cultural life and idiosyncrasy.
