Spartapp, developed by the THIS Programming Club, is a solution to two issues facing students studying in International Schools in Beijing -- Schedule checking and a proper announcement system. Luckily, Spartapp is designed to make schedule checking much easier and announcements delivered much quicker.
With Spartapp, students can check what classes they have for any day of the entire school year with just a few taps. This is especially convenient since Tsinghua International School uses a 6-day rotational schedule. 3D Touch and widget also offer shortcuts so that students don't even need to open the app to find out what classes they have. Setting up the courses is also extremely easy. No more entering all the classes one by one: a quickly login to students' existing PowerSchool accounts will have their schedules downloaded within seconds, and saved on device for the entire year.
The Announcement tab also provides a way for the first time ever for school-wide announcements to be delivered to students anywhere, anytime. This helps teachers deliver messages to everyone and help students to receive important notifications.
