Rapping is not a walk in the park. It is a complex of elements of speech, prose, poetry and songs. Knowing how to rap means repeated practice overtime. The following tips will make you a great rapper.
1. Listen to lots of rap.
The first step to starting the long journey into the rapping world is basically listening to pros in the raping industry. Be in the culture and master the hip-hop sound.
Music, just like dancing, singing and drawing is an art and requires one to be in the art to perform the art. One way of being in the art is listening to multiple rap songs in a bid to master their style, intonation and rhythm.

2. Get rhythm
You don’t just need to say anything that rhymes to be a rapper. It entails being a rapper and this requires you to get the feeling of being one. Tune your body and conscious to the art by rapping and feeling it. Try ignoring the words and pay attention to the instruments. Do this more so when listening to a rap that you really like or enjoy listening to and how the rappers words are fitting into the beat.
3. Join the rap

Once you can rap alone, raps from various artist, then you are good to go. Start writing your own raps and practicing them over and over again to make sure that you better your skills before presenting it out there.
