A secure web & mobile application that lets users make locked (inaccessible) savings via mobile money (MOMO) on the OyeSavings platform, for a set period of time towards catering for unforeseen expenses, basic needs (paying medical bills, house rents, school fees) and/or achieving financial goals (taking a vacation, buying a laptop, paying a debt or starting a business). At the end of the set saving period or when the user attains his/her target amount, the money is made available to users’ mobile money accounts so they can withdraw.
Oyesavings was created with a vision to include young Cameroonians (who are mostly unbanked or underbanked) in the access of financial services and to help them achieve financial freedom.
