Chanting is a rhythmic reciting of words, often in a musical or melodious tone. The words have some meaning that is spiritually significant. Chanting has been a part of human culture for hundreds of years. Examples include Buddhist chants, psalms in churches, African and Native American chants, Gregorian chants, Jewish ceremonial music, Quran readings, Bahai chants, and Vedic chants.
Why is Chanting Sloka Beneficial for Kids?
It is highly beneficial for children to chant slokas. Chanting slokas has a positive effect on the cognitive functions of the brain. Here are some reasons why chanting is beneficial for children:
