KeyPad, is a virtual Bluetooth keyboard, mouse and media remote. Anything you type in KeyPad (on the Mac) goes directly to your connected device. Why use your thumbs when you can type.
Don't buy bluetooth keyboards when you can just use your Mac keyboard (and mouse) with all your devices.
Keypad is free for one phone/tv/tablet. To use it with more than one device, or to use the Mouse feature requires In-App Purchase (for Multi-device).
Main Features of KeyPad:
Use the Mac Keyboard and Mouse to type on your phone, TV, iPad, Tablet
Paste text and more from the Mac to the connected phone.
Control volume, media playback on your connected phone, tablet.
Only uses bluetooth, no wifi/network access.
No ads, no network connectivity. Your keystrokes are secure.
A better keyboard:
Connect to as many devices as you like (Phones, Tablets, TVs)
Not just a keyboard, a combination mouse, keyboard and media remote
Function-Tab works like Command-Tab on iPad
Control-Option toggles Mouse support.
The app automatically disconnects from your device when you switch away from the app.
See our video on how to set up and use KeyPad. https://bluetooth-keyboard.com/setup/
To connect your Phone/TV/iPad/Apple TV/Android device:
1. Launch KeyPad preferences
2. Click "Launch Bluetooth Settings" on the Mac (Makes KeyPad discoverable over Bluetooth)
3. go the phones' Bluetooth settings and connect to the Mac.
That's it; you're done! Anything you type in the KeyPad window will now go to your phone.
Switch to another app in the Mac and KeyPad will disconnect.
KeyPad will work with your country's keyboard. It requires selecting the correct keyboard on the Phone. Use Shift-Control and tap Space to see the keyboard available on your connected iPhone, iPad. If you select your country's keyboard layout, keys like "£" work correctly.
KeyPad is for you:
If you prefer to type with a keyboard instead of using your thumbs.
If you prefer that notifications from WhatsApp and Messages remain on the Phone.
If you don't want to see personal notifications on the Mac while doing a presentation.
If you do not want to carry around an extra keyboard and mouse for your iPad.
If you have ever wished you had just one more Bluetooth keyboard.
If you prefer to type instead of use voice on your Apple TV or Fire TV.
If you use a screen mirror software to record a phone screen and wish you could interact with the phone.
Privacy-focused: KeyPad does not have access to the internet, so it cannot send any data out, or even show ads. It only has permissions to access Bluetooth and to launch the Bluetooth settings.
Verified support:
iPad keyboard and mouse
iPhone keyboard and mouse (requires accessibility for mouse)
Apple TV Keyboard (mouse not supported)
All major brand TVs
All smartphones and tablets
TV and Media players like Roku, FireTV, Nexus Player.
Most android TV boxes.
In-App Purchases:
KeyPad is free for a single device. There are no limitations in the app for one keyboard.
To use it for more than one device, or use the mouse feature, please purchase the App through the in-App Purchases menu selection. Please verify that KeyPad works for all your devices before you purchase. See our support page.
Even if you use it for only one device, do consider purchasing it anyway. You will help support further development.
Mouse support:
KeyPad emulates a combination keyboard and mouse. If you connect to an iPad you have full mouse and keyboard control.
Using the mouse with an iPhone requires that you go to Settings | Accessibility | Touch and select assistive touch.
This is a new app, and I need your help/suggestions to make it better. If it does not work for you please send us a note at our support webpage, or an email to tools@toolbunch.com.
