This app makes the WhatsApp notifications bareable for the Mi Fit Band 2 and 3, without removing the default application or any intrusive method, it acts like a proxy for notifications.
One of the greatest struggles when activating the notifications for your Xiaomi Mi Band is reading the notifications got from WhatsApp, as they are grouped different than the other apps, and for each message, you actually get more notifications on your band, which makes them spammy and almost unreadable, emptying the queue very fast.
This app acts like a proxy for your WhatsApp notifications: it takes the notifications from WhatsApp (without touching, altering or storing them), ungroups them and sends them like they are from its instance, solving the problem detailed above.
* How to use *
1. You need to turn on notification access for this application (you can open it and you will be prompted with a link to the settings page where to turn it on) for it to be able to read them
2. Turn it on, simply switch the big button
3. Go to your Mi Band app, to the band's interface, go to "App Alerts" and uncheck the option for "WhatsApp" and check it for "WhatsApp Mi Band Fix"
4. You're all set up, enjoy it.
* in case your app will stop working after a time, make sure you don't have any battery optimisation for this app as this will block the app from running in background
