This free app has received some performance improvements and more excitingly has some cool new features build in like:
• Enabling you to create your own trips or to use trips already made by the community of users.
• Liberation Route Europe and its partners have already created about 50 trips in multiple languages and made those available. A very nice new feature is the option to store trips on your device and then adjust them to your liking.
• Furthermore, you can create your own postcards to share on social media
• And more!
As this is the first version of the new app, more new features are in the pipeline and are being developed and tested. Those will be rolled out during the year.

Liberation Route Europe links regions of Europe that were liberated by the allied forces during the Second World War. The route starts in southern England and crosses into Normandy, France, on to Paris, the Belgian Ardennes; through into the Netherlands and cities like Eindhoven, Nijmegen and Arnhem; and across the German border into the Hürtgen Forest and on to Berlin. From there, it carries on to Gdańsk in Poland, where a democratic revolution led to the ultimate liberation of Central Europe in 1989, almost two generations later.
