This app works with the Watson Mini fingerprint scanner and OTG adapter. If you do not have these items, you will not be able to use all features in the app. As a demo app, you will be able to use this app for three days. You will need to contact us to set up an agency account to use this app un-restricted. This app does NOT work on all Android devices.
FingerSCAN ePrintsID is the first mobile digital fingerprinting app that offers investigators a way to easily capture digital elimination fingerprints in the field using an Android device and the Integrated Biometrics Watson Mini FBI certified fingerprint scanner to generate an electronic fingerprint card and share fingerprint images with their identification unit. Elimination prints are taken from individuals who had access to evidentiary surfaces and items in order to isolate known prints from unknown prints for criminal identification purposes. This app has also found use in the courts to fingerprint defendants prior to court appearance to verify identity with past fingerprint records.
FingerSCAN ePrintsID has the ability to capture demographic details and fingerprint images (slap and rolled) and automatically generates a double-sided elimination fingerprint card that can be shared via email, secure FTP or uploaded to a workstation via USB connection and then printed out.
The free download enables you to enter demographic information only until you have purchased the Watson Mini fingerprint scanner and USB Host OTG cable. Don't download until you have the scanner as the demo version expires after 3 days.
Performance will vary depending on the capabilities of your Android device. We've standardized on Samsung devices and have tested on some ASUS and LG devices as well. Not all Android devices are supported and not all Host OTG Adapters work with the Watson Mini scanner. Please contact info@wovois.com to find out which devices work with the software and the scanner.
