Why consume a lot of memory when a small file will do the job?
The iPhone camera is not just a device for taking beautiful photos. Sometimes we use it to just record information. Today cameras take the place of a note pad. For many uses of the camera a small file size does the job and smaller images mean more memory space on your phone, on your cloud, and faster uploads when you need to share them.
A picture is worth a 1000 words but not every picture needs to be 2.0 MB, which is the typical file size of a photo. Izzi Pics lets you set the reduction of the file size BEFORE its saved to the Photo Album. Reduce an image to 100 KB ( a 95% reduction ) and still save the information you need. If you use your camera as a notepad, this is an indispensable tool which gives you a way to control the memory foot print of a whole class of images.
IMAGE QUALITY
Sometimes you want the best image quality possible. The default image for the iPhone is a JPG compressed file. With Izzi Pics you can create a PNG lossless file format which is in fact the highest quality image available. The price you pay for quality is a large file, sometimes 6 x bigger than a typical image file. But for those special photos it is worth it and its nice to have the option at your fingertips.
