OpcBox is a secure sync tool for Dropbox. It works with other OpcBox clients to carry out secure files syncing.
OpcBox encrypts files before delivering them to Dropbox. This way, no one would be able to get to know the content of these files since encryption keys are in local devices. The encrypted files will be automatically decrypted by OpcBox at other devices. OpcBox means "Opaque Box", since it works like putting your files into an opaque box before delivering them to cloud sync service.
OpcBox has a lot of unique features compared to available solutions in the market:
1. OpcBox does not require any password related operations. OpcBox does not require a user to open an account, or do any password related operations. Any security related data (e.g. keys) are stored locally in devices. Not a single piece of user information in any form is sent out to anywhere, even this information could be encrypted by a password. OpcBox is "zero knowledge" in real sense.
2. OpcBox saves your precious cloud space. For a non-sharing folder, OpcBox intelligently detects whether or not files are synced among all devices. Once sync is done, it removes files stored in cloud. Thus, it is perfect for space limited users.
3. OpcBox supports secure folder sharing. You can share a folder to your friends securely. Only you and your friends can see the files. This feature is especially useful for business users.
4. OpcBox for Android is also fun. You can directly take pictures in OpcBox and all pictures will be automatically synced to your other devices, or shared to your friends in nearly real time.
