SongStreets is a powerful music composition tool for developing original melodies, chord progressions, song structures, and other musical ideas. SongStreets features "built-in music analysis" that takes much of the mystery out of composing and enhances your productivity.
Melodies are entered in Motifs - short patterns of musical Notes - that are mapped to underlying Chords and Scales and operated on melodically and rhythmically. Chords are entered as Chord Progressions selected from musical Modes.
Music is displayed in an intuitive graphical format that is both easy to read and quick to navigate on mobile devices. Playback features full and rich sounding acoustic grand piano samples.
The Songs Manager helps your organize, store, and share your compositions. The Measure Editor allows you to develop the basic voices of song writing: Melody, Rhythm, and Bass. You can also enter lyrics to go along with your voices. The Section Editor allows you to develop song structure along with interesting, flowing Chord patterns. The Modulation Wheel guides your selection of musical keys and modulations throughout your Song. You can base your composition on an ever-growing list of Song Templates that demonstrate the many features of SongStreets, or begin with Blank slate.
