Furthermore, 88% of business cards are thrown out within a week—equivalent to over 8 billion business cards a year. The current ways to exchange information are leading to missed opportunities, wasted time, and environmental harm.
Our app uses Bluetooth proximity to help students and professionals expand their networks faster. We eliminate the pain points of sharing information with new contacts, including the tedious process of manually entering information and the wastage caused by lost business cards.
With over 2.5 billion social media users and 85% of job opportunities stemming from relationships, we’ve identified a need to conveniently exchange social media, personal information, and professional backgrounds.
How it works:
1) Turn on Bluetooth and location services
2) Open the Mydas app
3) Sign up and connect to social media platforms under “Profile” section
4) Find other Mydas Members on main dashboard
5) Select which social media platform you would like to share
6) Click share and that connection will automatically get placed into your own personal network
7) Each connection in your “Network” has a text box to jot down any important information during the conversation or about the person
8) Met several people at an event? Don’t worry because you can group connections and remember where you met certain people!
