An interactive field guide for wildflower enthusiasts and visitors to Zion National Park in southwestern Utah, USA.
The app is built around a searchable database that combines photos, descriptive information, and specific locations where many common wildflowers and plants can be seen along popular trails. It can be used as a guided tour to learn about plants along a particular trail, to seek out specific plants along different trails in the park, or as a general reference to wildflowers in Zion.
Once downloaded the app works without a data connection. Your location will appear on map screen displays relative to geo-referenced plant locations whenever your mobile device's location feature is enabled.
Photos at the core of the app will help you identify a wide variety of plants and will hopefully enhance your visit and deepen your appreciation of the beauty and diversity of plant life in spectacular natural areas like Zion National Park.
