The SeaGlass App allows users with compatible hardware to scan for GSM cells and optionally report collected data back to us for analysis. Spectrum measurements, cell observations, and optional location information are stored in a local, exportable SQLite database. Cell observations include all System Information messages as well as samples of BCCH/CCCH traffic.
This app is based on osmocom-bb, and currently only C139/C140 phones connected with a CP2102 usb-to-serial adapter are support.
