The SkyCiv Mobile app is an all-in-one structural engineering toolbox; including a beam calculator, section database library, model viewer and structural unit converter. This free app allows you to run quick and easy calculations, as well as stay connected to your SkyCiv files and models.
The beam calculator is a fast and easy beam analysis tool, to calculate the reactions, bending moment diagrams, shear force diagrams, deflection and stresses in seconds! This is connected to SkyCiv’s powerful, commercial FEA software to provide quick and accurate results. The calculator is also connected to our Section Database so you can easily search and import common shapes. Users can review the clean diagrams, a concise summary and even export a PDF analysis report to send to colleagues or clients.
The section database includes a quick and easy handbook of common shapes from AISC, AISI, NDS, AS 4100, CISC, European, British and Chinese libraries. Use our quick search functionality, or browse through our library of more than 10,000 shapes.
The SkyCiv structural analysis app also includes a model viewer, allowing engineers to review, share and even run structural analysis on their structural models right from their mobile device!
Finally, the app also includes a structural engineering unit converter. This helps engineers convert common units for length, mass, density, pressure and more.
