Do you know the height of the building on the right? What is main objective of this water structure? Why has the landscape the form it has?
This app makes field trips fun and vivacious again by stimulating active participation and improving skills in landscape-reading, discussing, decision-making and estimating. In a funny but serious way.
Students are sent in the field with their group mates to fulfill a field trip developed by the course staff. During the trip, they answer questions in the field by means of pictures, multiple-choice, open questions or estimations.
The Peek app promotes an active participation of students in the field. They are triggered to come up with an answer as quick as possible. The results of each field trip are available for the staff online to reflect on the trip in class.
Peek is initiated by Wageningen University and developed by Label Vier.
