"For The Love Of Coffee"
The idea for Arabica sparked when entrepreneur and coffee fanatic, Dylan Hasson, accidentally handed the wrong loyalty card to the wrong coffee shop.
"It started becoming annoying to carry around multiple loyalty cards for different coffee shops. I was aware that some coffee shops were doing their own apps, but even so that would mean having to have multiple apps on my phone that I would never use otherwise. I thought 'What about a single app with multiple coffee shops, each with their own digital loyalty card and contact information'.
I started talking to some of the coffee shop owners who I've gotten to know and the overall response was extremely positive - They would save money by not needing to have cards made, they could help contribute to the environment by using less paper and they would get more exposure.
From there the idea just grew, I thought of ways to make the app more interactive and offer users more value. By this time in my career I had built up a large network with strong support and had become very well known for my love of coffee - it felt like a winning recipe and something I would have a lot of fun with!" - Dylan Hasson.
