Learning how to spell is often a challenging experience, but it can be an exciting
one if you start using a tool like SpellBeeStar! Kids can participate in a very fun
spelling bee experience with people from all over the world. This helps bring in a
great sense of immersion and value, while also pushing kids to be more
competitive, learning to spell words, learning their meanings, and ultimately
improving their vocabulary. Remember, a good vocabulary is a sign of intelligence!
It’s fun, creative and it always pushes the boundaries to deliver a great
interactive learning experience especially for that homeschooling!
How does it work?
SpellBeeStar comes with an audible function that makes e-learning a great
experience. The app speaks those words you need to spell, and then you must
spell as fast as possible. Remember, you’re competing with other people, so you
want to reply quickly to stay in the game if you want to win! But if you don’t, not to
worry, the app will let you know which word you misspelled so you know what
words you need to work on! A live spell bee event needs at least two participants
to sign up and play, but there can be as many as 20! Plus, a great NEW feature, if
you don’t want to play against other people, you can train against the virtual
players! SpellBeeStar supports playing against up to 4 virtual computer players,
just remember to select the “computer” option when creating an event.
SpellBeeStar also has a Spelling Test and Study mode function. This is great for
quickly challenging one’s spelling ability in the simulated classroom setting, testing
one’s skills in a simpler, solitary setting, without other players. The Spelling Test
The mode requires the user to spell the entire word and the Study Mode provides
partial words for more guidance.
Multiple levels based on skill levels
Not everyone has the same spelling skill level, which is why we have 3 skill levels
you can choose from. You will receive hints too, getting the definition of that
word that can be incredibly helpful if you need it. And just a reminder- Please
remember to disable any keyboards that predict words when typing! A native
keyboard is coming soon!!
