We’re excited to have you join us for the 6th annual California STEAM Symposium on October 28-29, 2018 at the Long Beach Convention Center!
The California STEAM Symposium offers ongoing rigorous, collaborative, and inspiring professional learning and resources to support high-quality science, technology, engineering, art, and math instruction for all students. We expect more than 3,000 STEAM educators from across California to attend! Over a dozen other states will also be represented, from Hawaii, Nevada, and Georgia to Texas, Alaska, and Mississippi.
This year, the STEAM Symposium features world-class, exciting keynote speakers, including LeVar Burton, Lera Boroditsky, and a panel featuring writers and producers with STEAM backgrounds brought to you by the Writers Guild Foundation and the California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls.
Attendees will have access to nearly 300 presentations, over 100 exhibitors, and a 5,000-square-foot hands-on Makerspace. Attendees will come away with practical strategies, classroom resources and curriculum, and new ideas to reinvigorate their practice as STEAM educators and advocates.
