Skoolkam - solving a real school problem
Skoolkam is the revolutionary new solution to the current problem faced by every school - how to capture school related media safely. Teachers really want to and need to capture important moments in academic and extracurricular situations, but because media captured at school level is considered ‘sensitive’, especially with teacher’s own devices, there is no safe way currently to do this. Compound this with GDPR and taking pictures and video in schools really has turned into a very real and big problem.
How it works
With no media stored on the device, Skoolkam’s unique solution pushes all media straight to the schools cloud storage provider which ends up ultimately under the careful control of the Principal. This means that only the Principal controls who sees the media captured. Equally as important, no media ever stays on the device which is the big risk currently. Finally, Skoolkam integrates seamlessly and easily with existing school AUP’s.
