This app will show you the value of the investment property you can buy based on a variety of LVRs.
LVR stands for Loan to Value Ratio – the percentage of the purchase price that the bank will lend you to buy a property. The standard LVR is 80% but you may be able to borrow up to 95%.
Loans over 80% will require LMI (Lender’s Mortgage Insurance) – an insurance policy that you pay to protect the bank for the extra risk they take by lending over 80%.
